Default date and number formats with Regional Preferences
Smartsheet displays dates and number formats according to the Regional Preferences you've specified for your account.
You can also apply formats to date columns in your sheet (for example, long format with the day and month spelled out).
For example, if Regional Preferences is set to English (United States), dates are displayed in the format month-day-year. If you've set Regional Preferences to English (United Kingdom), dates are displayed in the format day-month-year.
To change the default date and number formats:
- Select Account > Personal Settings, to display the Personal Settings window.
- Select Settings in the left pane.
- Under Regional Preferences, select the desired value from the dropdown list.
- Select Save to apply the changes.
Dates and number formats in your sheets are updated to match the new setting.
